Target Your Year-End Goals | The Basics & More!
Will you be spending the month of January wondering if there might have been something more that you could have done to raise more money in those last crucial months of 2013?
Do you have a plan in place to meet your year-end fundraising goals?
According to statistics, your organization could be raising up to 40% of its donations during the last six weeks of the year. And a full third (33%) of the donations made in December occur on the 31st of the month!
If your plan for year-end is to send out one letter to your list and cross your fingers, you’re leaving money on the table! Target Your Year-End Goals | The Basics & More! will work with where you are now to ensure that you’re supercharging your fundraising in the critical last six weeks of the year.
Face your year-end fundraising with confidence!
“I just wanted to thank you again for your help with our Annual Appeal. This year, we almost doubled the amount we have ever received from one appeal. Amazing!”
Curran Streett, MPH Executive Director The Pride Center of the Capital Region Albany, NY
Here’s How It Works
Target Your Year-End Goals | The Basics & More! is a four-week eCourse which includes written content, recorded webinars and worksheets created to guide your organization step-by-step, towards maximizing year-end fundraising season. Every Monday for three weeks, beginning on October 28, you and your team members will receive an email containing the week’s course materials (in PDF format). On Friday, November 22 you’ll be receiving the final installment of the course.
October 28

- Help your board and volunteers help you
- Planning donor visits and calls: what you absolutely must include
“Breaking down the process into segments takes away the ‘overwhelm factor’ of a workshop or a webinar and guides you incrementally into achieving what you thought was impossible! You provided valuable insight into all angles of how to write a meaningful piece to incite reaction from donors. Great work!”

“I found the substance as well as the form of presentation very compelling. I intend to recommend it to some of my clients who desperately need annual fund enhancement. Also, I will use it with my graduate students at Brandeis University where I teach fundraising management—and have for the past 22 years.”
David A. Mersky Mersky, Jaffe & Associates (Monthly Giving | The Basics & More!)
Who is this Course For?
I’m building a small team of development volunteers to dissect your new resource, “The Power of Thank You.” We’re rebuilding our donor relations systems and procedures, and this tool seems to be exactly what we need to enter a new phase of donor retention. Great stuff!

“Your new direct mail course was very helpful and beneficial to me. In this course, you simplified something that has become so complicated at times. Everyone is looking for a way to stand out. Everyone wants their direct mail campaign to make a BIG difference. Your course provides easy-to follow steps of how to accomplish this. I especially liked that the course was broken up over six weeks and focused on a new component of direct mail each week. By including actions to complete each week you also forced us to sit down and really understand what you were teaching while working toward the goal of our end of the year appeal—Thank you!”
Tyler D. Wilson, Executive Director The Ricky Proehl P.O.W.E.R. of Play Foundation
