What Happens When Your Boss Has Different Goals? New from The Agitator. I read the report referenced in this post, and I have to say that it’s extremely disheartening. There is a wealth of knowledge in fundraising on what works and what doesn’t work. Yet donor retention continues to be a major problem (just imagine where Starbucks or Amazon would be today if they didn’t care about returning CUSTOMERS!), and the report indicates that retention isn’t even a priority for many nonprofits.
