I always thought that eating ice cream in cold weather was one of those weird defects like being a ginger or an introvert, but it turns out I’m part of a really big crew. weird defects like hot chocolate in the summer, beer with my steak, or a hotdog with mustard and ketchup
It turns out that I’m not only in good company, but I’m also an ice cream in winter convert, thanks to emails like these.
Using the hashtag #IceCreamIsBreakfast, Jeni’s is out to set a world record for most people eating ice cream for breakfast.
They’ve created their own holiday!
If you think about it, you literally can find an occasion to make each and every day just a little bit more special.
Today alone (February 3rd) is National Golden Retriever Day, National Women Physicians Day, National Carrot Cake Day, and Feed the Birds Day. Nearly every day is some type of holiday and, for nonprofits, you literally can find an occasion to make each and every day just a little bit more special for your donors.
Which raises the question, how are you integrating holidays — either real or created for your mission or your donors — into your donor communications planning?
